Water temperature is an important factor in the operation and maintenance of
a pond. This floating/sinking pond thermometer eliminates the guesswork of knowing the
water temperature. Our thermometers have a range of -20 degrees to 120 degrees
F. ( -28.9 degrees C to 48.9 degrees C). The pond thermometer has
large, easy to read Fahrenheit

AMMONIA is a toxic chemical produced by such things as fish waste, uneaten fish food, and decaying plants and insects. It is potentially harmful to both fish and plants; however, if detected early, it can be corrected before any damage occurs. Pond test strips are the fast, easy way to test the level of ammonia in your pond. The PH test strips test for PH, BUFFERING CAPACITY, NITRATE AND NITRITES. A proper ph level will prevent the harmful effects of water that is either too acidic or too alkaline. An adequate buffering capacity level prevents sudden ph changes, which can be harmful to fish and plants. A proper nitrate level will promote plant growth while a higher level may lead to increased algae growth. High levels of nitrite can be dangerous to fish and cause rapid algae growth. All these test strip kits are a must in order to keep your pond safe. |
